This was my first experience to see drifting ice!
My thinking of "Why should I have to pay to see the ice?" was a mistake! It was so impressive. I enjoyed the nature of Hokkaido different from summer time.
And the price of the tour was very reasonable too!
We spend spring school holiday in an island called Bintan. It belongs to Indonesia, but access is through Singapole.
It was a beautiful place with white beach, clear seawater, spicy food, and strong sunshine.

I have seen Wajima in Noto on TV but never been to there, so as to Kanazawa, a city of history and culture.
Because oue son is away for ski school for one week, I decided to visit there with my wife by train not by car, so that we can enjoy the slow trip. Please join us to the trip to the north country!

It is called as "Small Edo (Tokyo)", and of only one hour by train from the center of Tokyo.

So we went down to Kita-Karuizawa, where we often visited to spend free time in summer.
It is the place we can relax and enjoy fresh green. as well as a natural cool air!

As for the family trip of summer vacation in this year, I have been looking for somewhere else than Kita-Karuizawa where we usually go.
My wife said that the destination should be the place where I do not need to drive. That means we should take either public transport or to join the packaged tour.
Finally, We decided to take 2 days 1 night bus tour of August 17-18th to Kiso, Takayama and Kamikouchi.
